Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel de Alcântara got the match started through his kick off. When Quadra's Daniel de Alcântara in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arapiraca SS's goalie prevented a goal. Luiz Fernando Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute of the match, Yan Sabóia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olavo Vergílio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Yan Sabóia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Olavo Vergílio made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Luiz Fernando Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Arapiraca SS's zone, Daniel de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo Vergílio came out of the goal and Daniel de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magno Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dagoberto Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Vivaldo Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Quadra's Daniel de Alcântara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Vivaldo Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Magno Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vivaldo Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magno Fantini having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Dagoberto Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arapiraca SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magno Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
If Daniel de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Arapiraca SS's zone, Yan Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo Vergílio came out of the goal and Yan Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yan Sabóia in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olavo Vergílio saved Arapiraca SS from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel de Alcântara in the 66th minute of play forced Arapiraca SS's goalkeeper Olavo Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Arapiraca SS's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Sabóia came free, but Olavo Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yan Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Daniel de Alcântara notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Arapiraca SS's Olavo Vergílio. Olavo Vergílio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes into the game, Luiz Fernando Freire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arapiraca SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quadra the free kick. A collision led to Arapiraca SS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Freire hit a great ball. Olavo Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Dagoberto Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Fantini having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Vivaldo Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arapiraca SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magno Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Dagoberto Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel de Alcântara in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olavo Vergílio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Quadra's Daniel de Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olavo Vergílio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Quadra's Percival Saraiva got a free kick in the 94th minute. Quadra's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
