The referee ignored Gaviões Atlético Clube's protests and gave Nelson Santos a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Gaviões Atlético Clube got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Santos. A collision led to Passamo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Luís Carneiro hit a great ball. Wilton Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute.
