An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Simão in the 40th minute of play forced Loreto AD's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Simão made a kick off. Leandro Simão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Antônio Carlos Quadros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Meia Boca Juniors F.C's goalkeeper José Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leandro Simão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Antônio Carlos Quadros came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Simão slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Leandro Simão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meia Boca Juniors F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geraldo Tavares during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
