Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maicon Alves took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Aproaga's zone, João Adolfo Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clóvis Mineiro came out of the goal and João Adolfo Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, João Adolfo Travassos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clóvis Mineiro, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Hortêncio Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bateias's supporters rose to their feet, but Hortêncio Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clóvis Mineiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Cosme having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Bateias's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Duarte came free, but Paulo Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clóvis Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Adolfo Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raí Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Clóvis Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Adolfo Travassos struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Clóvis Mineiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bateias. 41 minutes into the game, Raí Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bateias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aproaga the free kick. The supporters of Aproaga booed when Bateias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Duarte in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Maicon Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that João Adolfo Travassos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clóvis Mineiro was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After having played for 57 minutes, João Adolfo Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bateias's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Adolfo Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aproaga's Clóvis Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Travassos in the 59th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Aproaga's Maicon Alves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Cosme. That made the score 1-2 after 63 minutes of play. When Aproaga's Maicon Alves in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bateias's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69th minute, Gabriel Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maicon Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Paulo Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75thth minute of the game Maicon Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bateias's Paulo Cosme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aproaga's Clóvis Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Travassos in the 78th minute of play. Clóvis Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Adolfo Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Bateias's Paulo Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Alves in the 81st minute of play. Paulo Cosme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maicon Alves went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Aproaga's Rafael Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, João Adolfo Travassos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clóvis Mineiro. Aproaga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Adolfo Travassos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Maicon Alves got in the 94th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Paulo Cosme handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aproaga had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
