An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Falcão in the 16th minute of play forced Cafezal's goalkeeper André Luiz Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafezal's André Luiz Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Falcão in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Falcão in the 20th minute of play forced Cafezal's goalkeeper André Luiz Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Martins's late challenge caught a Cafezal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Martins helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flávio Falcão to strike the kick off in the second half. Flávio Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Cafezal's João Adolfo Linhares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Š¢øяpiøทŠ's Marcos Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Linhares in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Š¢øяpiøทŠ's goalkeeper Marcos Cardozo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flávio Falcão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. If Régis Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Cafezal were the better team. Cafezal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
