The wind increased when Silvinho Leite made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, S. C. Conapool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. S. C. Conapool's Nico Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Leite in the 57th minute of play. Silvinho Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Danilo Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Favoretto couldn't finish the play. S. C. Conapool players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
