The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toninho Vale during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Memori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Vale to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Wanderson Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César das Neves couldn't finish the play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Astro MZ's César das Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aílton Mangueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.
