The supporters of Sporting booed when Baviera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Baviera supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sporting's performance. The match ended with a win for Sporting.
