Rony Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dráusio Abreu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Deivid Cunha. That made the score 2-1 in the 32 minute of play. Piauna EC's Dráusio Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kléber Quintal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Dráusio Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oséias Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Sílvio Trigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piauna EC's Oséias Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When Thiago Martins fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Odirlei's protests and gave Thiago Martins a yellow card for diving instead. Thiago Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Deivid Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hílton Lopes's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Odirlei's Deivid Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Rossi in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hílton Lopes in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deivid Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sílvio Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Sílvio Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oséias Ferreira was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Deivid Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráusio Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Odirlei's Deivid Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Lopes in the 91st minute of play. Deivid Cunha came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Piauna EC's Hílton Lopes. But to his dismay, Hílton Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
