Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Caio Alcântara took the kick off in the first half of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Alberto das Neves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel da Costa. Alberto das Neves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Joel da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto das Neves's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Lenílson Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Joel da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel da Costa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raúl Teixeira. After having played for 18 minutes, Alberto das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Cruz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto das Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joel da Costa. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Belchior Lago in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético Cruz's Lino Teles. 30 minutes into the match, Prado F.C.'s goalkeeper Joel da Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Teles. Atlético Cruz's Alberto das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 minutes, Alberto das Neves made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Prado F.C.'s Joel da Costa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto das Neves's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto das Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joel da Costa. That made the score 5-0 in the 43 minute of play. Alberto das Neves did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Joel da Costa 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alberto das Neves made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Prado F.C.'s zone, Natã Mandrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel da Costa came out of the goal and Natã Mandrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the game, Alberto das Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Joel da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel da Costa having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Caio Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute Alberto das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Alcântara hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Prado F.C.'s zone, Alberto das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel da Costa came out of the goal and Alberto das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Prado F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto das Neves in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel da Costa saved Prado F.C. from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atlético Cruz fully deserved thier win.
