In the 20thth minute of the game Wilian Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Boys 2007's Noel Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umberto Salgado in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Linhares saved Agostinho SS from getting behind. Oswaldo Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Linhares having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Boys 2007's zone, Wilian Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Guedes came out of the goal and Wilian Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celsinho Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Guedes having to interfere. Moisés Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Guedes having to interfere. Wilian Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Guedes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moisés Bastos was the one to do the kick off. After 67 minutes of play, Golden Boys 2007's Umberto Salgado made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Linhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leandro Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Chaves in the 81st minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Chaves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Leandro Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Umberto Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leandro Linhares. Agostinho SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Golden Boys 2007 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Agostinho SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
