Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geovani Martins kicked off to start the match. Deivid Breckenfeld charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deivid Breckenfeld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Deivid Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adalberto de Mendonça took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robinho Dias. Cujubina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 9 played minutes Sampaio Corrêa FC got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Ceresso. Vladimir Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Cujubina's Geovani Martins. But to his dismay, Geovani Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Orlando Pitta lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Robinho Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Perez in the 24th minute of the match. Bebeto Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Robinho Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Amílton Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Dias having to interfere. Emílio Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robinho Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Hamílton Palmeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sampaio Corrêa FC and the Cujubina players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hamílton Palmeira hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Bebeto Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Perez in the 40th minute of play forced Cujubina's goalkeeper Robinho Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robinho Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Perez in the 42nd minute of play. Cujubina's Robinho Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Perez in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 56th minute, José Moura sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cujubina's Robinho Dias didn't even have to move. Robinho Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Perez in the 63rd minute of play forced Cujubina's goalkeeper Robinho Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Rui Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
