Antônio Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antônio Severo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antônio Severo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Zé Paulo Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldemar Silva acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adriano Araújo. Léo Palmeira came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Waldemar Silva could save by the left post. Antônio Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bateia SC's Léo Palmeira got a free kick in the 41st minute. Genílson Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Júlio da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Bateia SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tucunduba EC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Léo Palmeira was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Bateia SC's Acácio Veiga made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldemar Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Ramalho during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tucunduba EC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alan Ramalho hit a great ball. Júlio da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Silveira in the 68th minute of play. When Zé Paulo Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Bateia SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Paulo Furtado couldn't finish the play. Léo Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Waldemar Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Bateia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Silveira came free, but Júlio da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Loyola in the 80th minute of play forced Tucunduba EC's goalkeeper Waldemar Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Paulo Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zé Paulo Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Waldemar Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bateia SC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tucunduba EC to leave the ground with a draw.
