Cido Correia started the match with the kick off. Osvaldinho Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cames's goalkeeper Arthur Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Andrézinho Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot. FAMILIA F.S GUARULHOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrézinho Passos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo José Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Correia in the 20th minute of play. Angelo Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Borges in the 26th minute of play forced FAMILIA F.S GUARULHOS's goalkeeper Paulo José Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Cido Correia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo José Torres. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cames's zone, Osvaldinho Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Gomes came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cido Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo José Torres having to interfere. Arthur Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Passos in the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, FAMILIA F.S GUARULHOS's goalkeeper Paulo José Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Cavalcante.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Goiano made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Benjamim Teles in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FAMILIA F.S GUARULHOS's Walmyr Arruda. The supporters of FAMILIA F.S GUARULHOS booed when Cames was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Cido Correia notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FAMILIA F.S GUARULHOS's Paulo José Torres. Paulo José Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo José Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cido Correia scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo José Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Cames's goalkeeper Arthur Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrézinho Passos. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cames's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Percy Duarte was slow to take the kick. During this time FAMILIA F.S GUARULHOS's players had a chance to rest. Percy Duarte made a great header on FAMILIA F.S GUARULHOS's corner, it was just that Cames's Arthur Gomes managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 72nd minute of the match, Luis Goiano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arthur Gomes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 72nd play minute Luis Goiano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arthur Gomes. 3-1. Luis Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FAMILIA F.S GUARULHOS's Paulo José Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Borges in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to FAMILIA F.S GUARULHOS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Percy Duarte hit a great ball. Paulo José Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cido Correia went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cames fans cheered their team off the field, for while FAMILIA F.S GUARULHOS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
