Gonçalo Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeu Paraíba having to make a save. Amadeu Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonçalo Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 17 minutes, Dinei Secco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prosela SS and the Investors SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Prosela SS got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Secco. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Juan Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Investors SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Eduardo Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinaldo Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Trancoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Gonçalo Bittencourt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu Paraíba was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Gonçalo Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Investors SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Juan Prestes notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Prosela SS's Amadeu Paraíba. Amadeu Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tiaguinho Sena fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prosela SS's protests and gave Tiaguinho Sena a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Investors SA booed when Prosela SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonçalo Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Amadeu Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Prestes in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Gonçalo Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Juan Prestes made a precise shot to the right of Amadeu Paraíba. Prosela SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 55 minutes into the match, Prosela SS's goalkeeper Amadeu Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonçalo Bittencourt. Eduardo Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Prosela SS getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tiaguinho Sena hit a great ball. Amadeu Paraíba stood somewhat misplaced when Gonçalo Bittencourt came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Juan Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Prosela SS's zone, Gonçalo Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Paraíba came out of the goal and Gonçalo Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. From close distance Gonçalo Bittencourt pressed in the 0-6 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 69 minutes into the game. If Tiaguinho Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Eduardo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Investors SA's Aírton França was substituted for Gonçalo Bittencourt. Amadeu Paraíba was a little too slow when Aírton França got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-7. Juan Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Paraíba having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aírton França in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Paraíba saved Prosela SS from getting behind. After having played for 95 minutes, Eduardo Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Investors SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amadeu Paraíba came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Investors SA's Aírton França. But to his dismay, Aírton França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8.
