Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when João Pedro Esteves got the match started through his kick off. Alfredinho Goiano made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Silas Prado sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute João Pedro Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Josué de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Pedro Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Goiano having to interfere. In the 17th minute João Pedro Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silas Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alfredinho Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When João Pedro Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Amoroso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pedro Esteves couldn't finish the play. Amoroso FC's Sebastião Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Prata in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Dedê Prata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teffe and the Amoroso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Dedê Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Amoroso FC booed when Teffe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amoroso FC's Artur dos Santos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Teffe. In the 36th minute, João Pedro Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edson Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st play minute Silas Prado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfredinho Goiano. 1-0. 48 minutes into the match, Amoroso FC's João Pedro Esteves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredinho Goiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 54 minutes, Silas Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amoroso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Prado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlinhos de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlinhos de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Amoroso FC booed when Teffe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edson Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredinho Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro Esteves struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Alfredinho Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amoroso FC. João Pedro Esteves's late challenge caught a Teffe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Pedro Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Teffe booed when Amoroso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Amoroso FC's João Pedro Esteves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredinho Goiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute João Pedro Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredinho Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pedro Esteves's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Sebastião Urbano made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Edson Vidal sent off a good shot on target. Alfredinho Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that Amoroso FC were the better team. Amoroso FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
