Christian Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Elano Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duque de Caxias RJ's Christian Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio de Carvalho in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Elano Lago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duque de Caxias RJ's Christian Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Duque de Caxias RJ getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Artur Cordeiro hit a great ball. Christian Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio de Carvalho in the 28th minute of play. If Juninho Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Pimenta hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Antônio de Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the RAJH FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio de Carvalho couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in RAJH FC's zone, Juninho Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Medeiros came out of the goal and Juninho Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to RAJH FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Osvaldinho Cruz hit a great ball. RAJH FC's Percival de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute Percival de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half RAJH FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Percival de Sena made the kick off in the second half. Duque de Caxias RJ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Antônio de Carvalho scored to the left of an out of position Christian Alcântara, making the score, 0-3. Elano Lago's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Alcântara firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival de Sena in the 59th minute of play forced Duque de Caxias RJ's goalkeeper Christian Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Alcântara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Christian Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. RAJH FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
