In the 83rdth minute of the game Ezequiel Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapui SC's Márcio Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Álvaro Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manolo Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugênio Bezerra having to interfere. Eugênio Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Toscano in the 92nd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PIMPOLHO F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
