Angelo Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Eugênio Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Corrêa succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Luisão Corrêa had several of the COLÉGIO FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Agnaldo da Cunha as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 25 played minutes COLÉGIO FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Loyola. Víktor Koehler charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor Koehler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, one of COLÉGIO FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for COLÉGIO FC. Agnaldo da Cunha went to the wrong direction when Ramón Marinho was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 34th minute, Ezequiel Messias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Agnaldo da Cunha. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 36th match minute, COLÉGIO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Loyola to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the COLÉGIO FC defense, Ezequiel Messias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agnaldo da Cunha. The COLÉGIO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agnaldo da Cunha should have stopped the shot. Ezequiel Messiass short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Agnaldo da Cunha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of PIMPOLHO F.C booed when COLÉGIO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramón Marinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Agnaldo da Cunha. COLÉGIO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

André Pombal hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Ramón Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the PIMPOLHO F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Marinho couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Adhemar de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugênio Bezerra was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Eugênio Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Angelo Loyola sent off a good shot on target. If Adhemar de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute.
