Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rafael Rodrigues kicked off to start the match. Dário Brodel's late challenge caught a Chorador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dário Brodel helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Válter Porto, was totally fooled by Chorador's Alfredo Madureira, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Válter Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Eliseu Mendes struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Válter Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorador. The audience was convinced that Cássio Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Décio Neves was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Trancoso in the 28th minute of play forced Chorador's goalkeeper Décio Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Breno Trancoso fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costello AD's protests and gave Breno Trancoso a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Costello AD getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Breno Trancoso hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Costello AD's goalkeeper Válter Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerson Terra. 45 minutes into the match, Eliseu Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Válter Porto. Costello AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cássio Castro made a kick off. In the 56th minute Eliseu Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilmar Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Cássio Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Neves having to interfere. Váldson Tavares hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Costello AD's Cássio Castro in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 75th minute Eliseu Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Chorador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Chorador's Eliseu Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Váldson Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorador's supporters rose to their feet, but Váldson Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válter Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Chorador's zone, Cássio Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Neves came out of the goal and Cássio Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Valdo Penha came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Costello AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Penha couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Eliseu Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Válter Porto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Chorador's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
