Walmir Correia came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Carioca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tiago Soeiro made the kick off in the second half. Antonopolis's Walmir Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Soeiro in the 53rd minute of play. Tiago Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Correia having to interfere. The Antonopolis fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Breakout were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
