Caco Romero came out of the goal and Samuca Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caco Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Caco Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Rodrigues in the 13th minute of the match. Jacinto Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Caco Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arata's Caco Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Rodrigues in the 24th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Batatal booed when Arata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerônimo Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Arata's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Mazza came free, but Caco Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Kauan Rodrigues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Caco Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Arata booed when Batatal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davi Souto made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Rodrigues in the 52nd minute of play forced Arata's goalkeeper Caco Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Kauan Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batatal's supporters rose to their feet, but Kauan Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caco Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natã Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Caco Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Jacinto Mazza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arata! The goalkeeper, Caco Romero, was totally fooled by Batatal's Adelino Romero, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kauan Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Batatal's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Macedo came free, but Jacinto Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Batatal's Pedrinho Simão got a free kick in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Batatal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
