Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Márcio Terra took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dito Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Pirani having to interfere. Roger Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathias de Mendonça came free in the 12th minute and tried to tip the ball over José Pedro Miranda, but to the joy of Laranginha SS's supporters the ball went over. Roger Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Pirani having to interfere. If Mathias de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Roger Martins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wágner Pirani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathias de Mendonça kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Pedro Miranda. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. Nestor Ceresso hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Roger Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Pirani having to interfere. Luciano Valadares's late challenge caught a Vargen SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, one of Laranginha SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Laranginha SS. The referee gave Vargen SS a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victor do Vale, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Laranginha SS's José Pedro Miranda. 2-1. If Mathias de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márcio Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Martins came free in the 98th minute and tried to tip the ball over Wágner Pirani, but to the joy of Vargen SS's supporters the ball went over. Many of Laranginha SS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Laranginha SS may have spent more time on the ball, but Vargen SS were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
