In the 14th minute Walmir Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luís Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Emerson Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aldeiamento SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaquatiara SC the free kick. Emerson Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Egil Modig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Amaral having to interfere. When Walmir Valadares, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The André Luís Amaral was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sabino Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Luís Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Walmir Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. André Luís Amaral came out of the goal and Egil Modig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Luís Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walmir Valadares's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walmir Valadares made a kick off. With a little luck, Aldeiamento SC's André Luís Amaral got control of the ball when Walmir Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Aldeiamento SC's Emerson Amaral got a free kick in the 71st minute. Basílio Cardoso hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walmir Valadares during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
