The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Válter da Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Válter da Cunha in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Severo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Mazza during the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Calcoene SS defense, Denílson Nunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Severo. The Calcoene SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Severo should have stopped the shot. Denílson Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Alfredinho de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geraldo Pereira in the 83rd minute.
