When Adelino de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacre AD's protests and gave Adelino de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Caconde booed when Bacre AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno de Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Paraibano in the 5th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Caconde got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Cavalcante. 14 minutes into the match, Bacre AD's Fellipe de Azevedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Vítor de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caconde's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno de Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bacre AD's goalkeeper Nuno de Godoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vítor de Sena scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno de Godoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuno de Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Paraibano in the 23rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vito Paraibano to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Bacre AD's Nuno de Godoy got control of the ball when Vítor de Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nuno de Godoy was a little too slow when Vito Paraibano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 59th match minute, Caconde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Vito Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bacre AD getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eusébio Marques hit a great ball. Nuno de Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Breno Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Paraibano in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno de Godoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75 minutes of play, Bacre AD's Valdomiro Sena made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Víktor Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Vítor de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Bacre AD got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Vides. Bacre AD's Nuno de Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Paraibano in the 97th minute of play.
