After recieving a nice pass, SurpeFla FC's Romário da Rocha tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 17 minutes of play, SurpeFla FC's Luan Pontes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erivaldo Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luan Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iron City F.C's goalkeeper Mateus Antunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, SurpeFla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Prestes to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedrão Diniz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SurpeFla FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
