The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Urucus EC's goalkeeper Silvinho Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademir Rodrigues. With an all-out effort, Rubro Oeste MZ's Silvinho Meireles threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucas de Sousa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ademir Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho Meireles having to interfere. Silvinho Meireles made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ademir Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. The tension between the Urucus EC and the Rubro Oeste MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rubro Oeste MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urucus EC's Silvinho Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Urucus EC from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Rubro Oeste MZ's Lucas de Sousa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ademir Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Silvinho Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas de Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Urucus EC got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Andrade. 64 minutes into the match, Urucus EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Rodrigues came free, but Silvinho Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Tony Barreto made a precise shot to the right of Silvinho Meireles. Urucus EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Diogo Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, one of Urucus EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Urucus EC. Umberto Varela shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Ademir Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvinho Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas de Sousa in the 88th minute of play. Lucas de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Silvinho Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Lucas de Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Augusto Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Ademir Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Urucus EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rubro Oeste MZ.
