Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) William Andrade started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Deivid Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Antunes having to interfere. Erivaldo Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Cocal EC's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Leal came free, but Frederico do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erivaldo Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Jacinto in the 25th minute of play. Manibu AD's Erivaldo Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid Abraão in the 29th minute of play. Lauro Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico do Nascimento having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Kiko Donato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cocal EC and the Manibu AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Cocal EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Donato to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, William Andrade sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cocal EC's Frederico do Nascimento didn't even have to move. William Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederico do Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Eduardo Jacinto was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Andrade during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. William Andrade hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Manibu AD got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Arósio. In the 62nd match minute, Manibu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Secco to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Manibu AD getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Leopoldo Vale hit a great ball. Cocal EC's Frederico do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Andrade in the 70th minute of play. William Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederico do Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th match minute, Cocal EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Abraão to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Cocal EC defense, Leopoldo Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederico do Nascimento. The Cocal EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederico do Nascimento should have stopped the shot. Deivid Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Manibu AD's zone, Carlos Eduardo Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Antunes came out of the goal and Carlos Eduardo Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Manibu AD players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
