Patrick da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Pinheiro having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Alessandro Berger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nuno Gerber. Alessandro Berger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ponta Grossa Lightning's Evaristo Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Alessandro Berger took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nuno Gerber to make any attempt to save it. Nuno Gerber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Monteiro in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Benjamin Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Bartlomiej Wojtyna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nuno Gerber. That made the score 3-1 in the 34 minute of play. Evaristo Monteiro took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Gerber. Nuno Gerber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. A collision led to Cansados F.C getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. José Vítor Ferreira hit a great ball. Nuno Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Wojtyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Lúcio Cordeiro lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 65th match minute, Cansados F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Ponta Grossa Lightning's Edvaldo Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Ponta Grossa Lightning from getting a goal against them. Evaristo Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Ponta Grossa Lightning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartlomiej Wojtyna to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Ponta Grossa Lightning players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
