When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Félix made a kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manoel Barros came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruninho Xavier could save by the left post. In the 66th minute, Otávio Zilles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruninho Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Gláuber de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Félix in the 73rd minute of the match. RACHANDO A LENHA FC were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Amaniutuba SS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Agostinho de Almeida took the corner. Raí Novaes's late challenge caught a RACHANDO A LENHA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in RACHANDO A LENHA FC's zone, Otávio Zilles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruninho Xavier came out of the goal and Otávio Zilles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amaniutuba SS's Zé Roberto Motta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodrigo Pires in the 89 minute of the game. In the 91st minute Otávio Zilles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruninho Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gláuber de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
