Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Itacava's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Barbosa came free, but Fernandão Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Elói Barbosa put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fernandão Vander. Elói Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acácio Madureira hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Petru Neagoe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Itacava's Cléber Eger got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Cléber Cunha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandão Vander skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Vascão-ES booed when Itacava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Délio Ferreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandão Vander skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Vascão-ES's Kauan Mendes got control of the ball when Olívio de Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Itacava's zone, Elói Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandão Vander came out of the goal and Elói Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tarcisio Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 47 minutes of play, Itacava's Cléber Eger made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kauan Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cauã Donato in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauan Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kauan Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandão Vander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petru Neagoe in the 59th minute. Itacava's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Elói Barbosa scored to the left of an out of position Fernandão Vander, making the score, 1-3. 65 minutes into the game, Elói Barbosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Fernandão Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Itacava booed when Vascão-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio de Amorim hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Patrício Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Cléber Eger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Kauan Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Petru Neagoe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vascão-ES's Kauan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauã Donato in the 91st minute of play. Kauan Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olívio de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Madureira in the 94th minute of play forced Vascão-ES's goalkeeper Kauan Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandão Vander made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Elói Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vascão-ES had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
