Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manoel Queirós took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Pitombeira booed when Herpetologia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeferson Vallearena had great luck who in the 5thth minute grab hold of the ball when Manoel Queirós from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Pitombeira's Toninho Jacinto got a free kick in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the Pitombeira defense, Iwo Sala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guga de Senna. The Pitombeira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guga de Senna should have stopped the shot. Gugu Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Guga de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Iwo Sala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorginho Dracena got free with Jeferson Vallearena in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 minutes, Iwo Sala made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pitombeira's Guga de Senna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes of play, Pitombeira's Jorginho Dracena made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeferson Vallearena was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Pitombeira's zone, Iwo Sala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guga de Senna came out of the goal and Iwo Sala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gugu Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubens Porto's late challenge caught a Herpetologia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rubens Porto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Pitombeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Porto to maneuver through the defense. Iwo Sala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga de Senna having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pitombeira's Enio de Godoy got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, Herpetologia FC's Luiz Fabiano Coutinho got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iwo Sala to make the kick off. Iwo Sala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga de Senna having to interfere. If 陶川军 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guga de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Sala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 陶川军 took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guga de Senna. Guga de Senna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Guga de Senna was a little too slow when Iwo Sala got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-5. In the 86th of the match, Iwo Sala tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Guga de Senna got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 89th match minute, Herpetologia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwo Sala to maneuver through the defense. When Rubens Porto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. 92 minutes into the match, Iwo Sala notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Pitombeira's Guga de Senna. Guga de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Herpetologia FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pitombeira throughout the match.
