But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Marquez couldn't finish the play. The Taboinha fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Taboinha's Rui Gonçalves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. F.C Parafuso de Patrola's Jailson Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Marquez in the 26th minute of play. Jailson Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Marquez in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Rui Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taboinha's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Rui Gonçalves was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Taboinha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
