In the 6th minute Acácio Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Souto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Toheroa FC's Inácio França nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The Toheroa FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Toheroa FC's Inácio França looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zacarias Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Guedes in the 27th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Toheroa FC got a freekick which was hit by Dé Urbano. Zacarias Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Guedes in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Jean Ceresso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Armindo Souto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Acácio Guedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Acácio Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Beiju EC's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Guedes came free, but Zacarias Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Beiju EC's Amadeu Branco got a free kick in the 68th minute. Inácio França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Valle having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Acácio Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Valle was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the match, Inácio França notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Beiju EC's Zacarias Valle. Zacarias Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Guedes in the 87th minute of play forced Beiju EC's goalkeeper Zacarias Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Amadeu Branco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Toheroa FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
