Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lúcio Barbosa started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Tejupa EC defense, Mateus Arruda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doni Sarmento. The Tejupa EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doni Sarmento should have stopped the shot. Maurício Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateus Arruda in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni Sarmento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute of the match, Lúcio Barbosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felipe Campidelis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 17 minutes, José Paulo Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tejupa EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Paulo Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubens Bueno hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Lúcio Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurício Vale scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doni Sarmento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Maurício Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Mateus Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capunga's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Arruda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd match minute, Capunga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Vale in the 47th minute of play forced Tejupa EC's goalkeeper Doni Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateus Arruda to strike the kick off in the second half. Capunga were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Tejupa EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zé Augusto Couto took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Zé Augusto Couto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Doni Sarmento quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maurício Vale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Doni Sarmento when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felipe Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Maurício Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Doni Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doni Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurício Vale in the 66th minute. Doni Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Capunga booed when Tejupa EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doni Sarmento was a little too slow when Mateus Arruda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-4. Severino Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Doni Sarmento was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Mateus Arruda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mateus Arruda really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Capunga's Maurício Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tejupa EC's zone, Maurício Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Sarmento came out of the goal and Maurício Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lúcio Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Campidelis having to interfere.
