Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toninho Galvão took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Válbson Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Galvão in the 5th minute of play forced Ebenezer's goalkeeper Arí Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Válbson Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinesa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toninho Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chinesa's goalkeeper Enéas Quirino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Chinesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Ebenezer's Arí Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Ebenezer from getting a goal against them. Válbson Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Arí Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Ebenezer got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Baiano. In the 35th match minute, Chinesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Motta to maneuver through the defense. Robinho Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Quirino having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelson Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Chinesa's Toninho Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ebenezer's Arí Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Donato in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Chinesa booed when Ebenezer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dida Abreu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Nelson Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Enéas Quirino made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Nelson Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. Toninho Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Donato in the 82nd minute of play forced Ebenezer's goalkeeper Arí Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arí Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Donato in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Carneiro in the 88th minute of play forced Chinesa's goalkeeper Enéas Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Toninho Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Chinesa failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
