Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Guilherme Neves took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pacas SC's Marcus Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Auler's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Lara came free, but Aílton Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Auler's Aílton Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Couto in the 11th minute of play. Marcus Couto scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aílton Chaves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aílton Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Lara in the 17th minute of play. Aílton Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim de Sena in the 19th minute of the match. Thomás Lara struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Aílton Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacas SC. Aílton Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim de Sena in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Dida Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Auler and the Pacas SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Auler getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dida Berger hit a great ball. Pacas SC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Auler's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedrinho Melo took the corner. The corner ended in Juarês Cordeiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Auler's Aílton Chaves did a great save. Marcus Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aílton Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Benjamim de Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Auler's Aílton Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Thomás Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Marcus Couto put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aílton Chaves. Benjamim de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Chaves having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Auler's Luís Eduardo Lago got a free kick in the 44th minute. Thomás Lara's late challenge caught a Auler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomás Lara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Auler booed when Pacas SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Couto made a kick off. Pacas SC's Albertinho Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Neves in the 55th minute of play. When Pacas SC's Marcus Couto in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Auler's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamim de Sena during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedrinho Melo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Válter Cunha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aílton Chaves. That made the score 0-3 in the 75 minute of play. Cesinha Carioca struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Aílton Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacas SC. Válter Cunha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Aílton Chaves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juninho Queirós's late challenge caught a Pacas SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertinho Rosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
