Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aírton de Amorim kicked off to start the match. Lino Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton de Amorim in the 3rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aírton de Amorim in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Motta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute, Sufi Akergin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Osvaldinho Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aírton de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 played minutes, Paulada Futebol Clube's Noel Medeiros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lino Motta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paulada Futebol Clube reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Ibira AD's zone, Aírton de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Motta came out of the goal and Aírton de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Rezende took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lino Motta. Ibira AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Paulada Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Waldir do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Carlos de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sufi Akergin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ibira AD's Lino Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Rezende in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Paulada Futebol Clube were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fellipe Prata was the one to do the kick off. Sufi Akergin charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sufi Akergin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paulada Futebol Clube! Aírton de Amorim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Lino Motta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Osvaldinho Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Lino Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Rezende in the 63rd minute of play. Cafu Netto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Eduardo Vides's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. João Carlos de Medeiros hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Paulada Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Prata came free, but Cafu Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Fellipe Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Rezende took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Motta. Lino Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luiz Eduardo Vides charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Eduardo Vides the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ibira AD's Luiz Eduardo Vides got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Paulada Futebol Clube's Luiz Rezende ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lino Motta. Lino Motta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Fellipe Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Rezende struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Lino Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paulada Futebol Clube. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Cardoso during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ibira AD getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. David Cardoso hit a great ball. During the 96th minute of the match David Cardoso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave David Cardoso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Paulada Futebol Clube booed when Ibira AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulada Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
