Iuri Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Abras FC booed when Cerrado Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iuri Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Iuri Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Loyola was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Charles Loyola came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerrado Esporte Clube's Iuri Seco. But to his dismay, Iuri Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Ezequiel Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrado Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Abras FC's Manfredo Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 20th minute. Zé Pedro Vergílio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charles Loyola. Abras FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rafinha Almeida's late challenge caught a Cerrado Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafinha Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. Rafinha Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Abras FC's goalkeeper Charles Loyola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ezequiel Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Charles Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Matos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Loyola was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Iuri Seco struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Charles Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerrado Esporte Clube. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Matos in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Loyola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute Ezequiel Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Iuri Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Loyola having to interfere. Abras FC's Charles Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Seco in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manfredo Breckenfeld to make the kick off. If Ezequiel Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Iuri Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 65th match minute, Cerrado Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Iuri Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Loyola having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, one of Abras FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Charles Loyola, was totally fooled by Cerrado Esporte Clube's Zé Pedro Vergílio, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Iuri Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafinha Almeida got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Charles Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Pinho in the 82nd minute of play. Charles Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iuri Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Charles Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iuri Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manfredo Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iuri Seco got free with Charles Loyola in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cerrado Esporte Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
