Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yan Cunha to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Renatinho Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assembleia's supporters rose to their feet, but Renatinho Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júnior Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Assembleia booed when Dorgelo AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Assembleia's Renatinho Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But to his dismay, Renatinho Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. If Renatinho Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Assembleia's goalkeeper Wilton Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Figueiredo. The Assembleia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dorgelo AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
