Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simão Azevedo started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mamonas Assassinas's Alfredinho Brodel got a free kick in the 5th minute. Mamonas Assassinas's Geraldo Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Abraão in the 8th minute of play. Mamonas Assassinas's Alfredinho Brodel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Caio Viana in the 12 minute of the game. Leopoldo Saldanha got a throw-in 13 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Válbson Mattos. In the 15th play minute Víktor de Toledo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Geraldo Vidal. 1-0. Geraldo Vidal made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Válbson Mattos sent off a good shot on target. If Simão Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredinho Brodel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. Alfredinho Brodel hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes Mamonas Assassinas got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Gomesano. 46 minutes into the match, Mamonas Assassinas's goalkeeper Geraldo Vidal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Mattos. In the 48th match minute, Corrida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Abraão to make the kick off. Mamonas Assassinas's Bernardo Gomesano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Olavo do Nascimento, made in the 59th minute of the game. Corrida's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Simão Azevedo scored to the left of an out of position Willian Prado, making the score, 3-1. 68 minutes into the match, Júlio Abraão notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Mamonas Assassinas's Geraldo Vidal. Geraldo Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geraldo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Melo in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Mamonas Assassinas's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Melo came free, but Geraldo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aílton Fernandez made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pedro Luiz Melo however managed to control. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Válbson Mattos put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Geraldo Vidal. Geraldo Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mamonas Assassinas's Geraldo Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz Melo in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Júlio Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geraldo Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Víktor de Toledo went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Corrida had played much better football throughout.
