With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anísio Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vasco Sempre FC's Delfim Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Carioca in the 7th minute of play. E.C Chiuaua's Anísio Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save E.C Chiuaua from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Vasco Sempre FC's Romeu de Queirós ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anísio Reis. Anísio Reis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Delfim Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Carioca in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, José Carlos Sampaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vasco Sempre FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Bertassi in the 28th minute of play forced E.C Chiuaua's goalkeeper Anísio Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delfim Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Figueiredo in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, E.C Chiuaua's goalkeeper Anísio Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Carlos Sampaio. After a defensive mix-up in Vasco Sempre FC's zone, Willian Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Barbosa came out of the goal and Willian Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. E.C Chiuaua's Anísio Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Bertassi in the 36th minute of play. In the 44th minute Nuno Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anísio Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeu de Queirós went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Nuno Bertassi made the kick off in the second half. When Nuno Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vasco Sempre FC's protests and gave Nuno Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of E.C Chiuaua booed when Vasco Sempre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Carlos Sampaio scored 4-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anísio Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Bertassi in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anísio Reis saved E.C Chiuaua from getting behind. Vasco Sempre FC's Miguel de Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to E.C Chiuaua getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Enrique Trigo hit a great ball. Anísio Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Bertassi in the 90th minute of the match. If Betinho Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasco Sempre FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
