In the 7th minute, E.C Chiuaua's Betinho Carioca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albertinho Falcão. Albertinho Falcão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Batatais FC's Albertinho Falcão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Batatais FC from getting a goal against them. Olívio Figueiredo's late challenge caught a Batatais FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olívio Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in E.C Chiuaua's zone, Dagoberto Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anísio Reis came out of the goal and Dagoberto Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Kléber Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albertinho Falcão. Batatais FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléber Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Kléber Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Albertinho Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E.C Chiuaua. Betinho Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto Silveira missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 25 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Anísio Reis right hand side. In the 26th minute, E.C Chiuaua's Kléber Figueiredo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With his leg Albertinho Falcão managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when E.C Chiuaua's Kléber Figueiredo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Betinho Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Albertinho Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kléber Figueiredos short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Albertinho Falcão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Kléber Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. E.C Chiuaua's Anísio Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Silveira in the 45th minute of play. Olívio Figueiredo was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 48th match minute, E.C Chiuaua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. 50 minutes into the match, E.C Chiuaua's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Silveira came free, but Anísio Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Betinho Carioca to strike the kick off in the second half. Willian Paraense might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albertinho Falcão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willian Paraense ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, Batatais FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Vides came free, but Albertinho Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Willian Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Carioca in the 69th minute of play forced Batatais FC's goalkeeper Albertinho Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Batatais FC's zone, Betinho Carioca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertinho Falcão came out of the goal and Betinho Carioca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Willian Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C Chiuaua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willian Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. E.C Chiuaua's Walmir Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Betinho Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Albertinho Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 minutes of play, E.C Chiuaua's Willian Paraense made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertinho Falcão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albertinho Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Betinho Carioca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albertinho Falcão having to make a save. 90 minutes into the match, E.C Chiuaua's Walmir Vides sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertinho Falcão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Betinho Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes, E.C Chiuaua's Róbson Coutinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Albertinho Falcão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in E.C Chiuaua reached it. When the referee ended the match the E.C Chiuaua players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
