After recieving a nice pass, Bonsecesso's Evandro Dias tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rubinho Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasil Pavlov in the 28th minute of play forced Bonsecesso's goalkeeper Jonas Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damianopolis's Vasil Pavlov got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Wanderson Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Vasil Pavlov made the kick off in the second half. Kauan Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Damião having to interfere. Evaristo Vianna struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Agnaldo Damião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonsecesso. Mazinho Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mazinho Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kauan Carioca struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Damianopolis's Agnaldo Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Carioca in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute, Claudinho Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agnaldo Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kauan Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Agnaldo Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Damianopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Carioca came free, but Agnaldo Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
