In the 20th minute, Afonso Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sílvio Luís Bezerra hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Taquarinha SC's Dino Teixeira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by José Paulo Sena but with some difficulty. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by KoFo Fornecedor de Craque's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dino Teixeira was slow to take the kick. During this time Taquarinha SC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Dino Teixeira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Paulo Sena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Roberto Azevedo took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Paulo Sena. José Paulo Sena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 35th minute, Sílvio Luís Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, KoFo Fornecedor de Craque's Eliseu Zonta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Augusto Lira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, KoFo Fornecedor de Craque's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Goiano came free, but José Paulo Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half KoFo Fornecedor de Craque were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 65th minute, Sílvio Luís Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
