An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Rosa in the 47th minute of play forced Floks's goalkeeper Dadá Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmo Machado was the one to do the kick off. Dadá Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Favoretto's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After 58 played minutes Floks got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Vander. Antônio Rosa struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Dadá Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for América F. C. América F. The long shot by Allan Gomes in the 79th minute really tested Dadá Figueiredo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dalmo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dadá Figueiredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Favoretto in the 83rd minute. Frank Mesquita hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Antônio Rosa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Emanuel Favoretto came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dadá Figueiredo could save by the left post. When the final whistle sounded América F. C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Floks.
