Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amauri Donato made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, BALAVENUTO FC's Amauri Donato ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernandão de Lara. Fernandão de Lara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 6th minute, Amauri Donato reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernandão de Lara. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 8th minute, Dênis Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Botafogo-RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Seco came free, but Fernandão de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Fernandão de Lara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Amauri Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Maurinho Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Amauri Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botafogo-RJ's Fernandão de Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernandão de Lara made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Dênis Seco sent off a good shot on target. After 26 played minutes Botafogo-RJ got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Catarinense. Fernandão de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Dênis Seco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 42 minutes into the match, Botafogo-RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Donato came free, but Fernandão de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Dênis Seco put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fernandão de Lara. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amauri Donato in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandão de Lara saved Botafogo-RJ from getting behind. Dênis Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão de Lara having to interfere. A collision led to Botafogo-RJ getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Wilton Catarinense hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, BALAVENUTO FC's goalkeeper Adalberto Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabinho Guerra. In the 77th minute, Maurinho Bastos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Botafogo-RJ booed when BALAVENUTO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Juarês Peixoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandão de Lara. Botafogo-RJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juarês Peixoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 95 minutes into the game, BALAVENUTO FC's Dênis Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernandão de Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. When the referee ended the match the BALAVENUTO FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
