AA Cedro's Washington Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Duarte in the 17th minute of play. Henrique Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Washington Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AA Cedro! The AA Cedro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barrera were winning 0-2.

Washington Bastos stood somewhat misplaced when Cauã Saldanha came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 51 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Tinoco got free with Washington Bastos in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in AA Cedro's zone, Henrique Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Washington Bastos came out of the goal and Henrique Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique Tinoco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 64th playminute. In the 68th minute, Henrique Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tarcisio Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabino Prado having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Barrera's Henrique Tinoco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Washington Bastos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. If Edu Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edu Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, AA Cedro's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Duarte came free, but Washington Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barrera's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
