After 15 played minutes, Candia's Aírton Moreira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wiley Hess came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Candia reached it. Wiley Hess took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Rodriguinho Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cascata FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candia the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cascata FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murilo Oliveira during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cascata FC booed when Candia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Candia's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Hames came free, but Silas da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Délio Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cascata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Délio Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silas da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raimundo Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Silas da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Raimundo Hames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candia's Silas da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Hames in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Candia defense, Fred Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silas da Costa. The Candia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silas da Costa should have stopped the shot. Silas da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Hames in the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Candia's Murilo Oliveira got a free kick in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 56th minute, Alan Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silas da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Hames in the 58th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Raimundo Hames made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Candia's Silas da Costa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Raimundo Hames ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silas da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. A collision led to Candia getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gualter da Cunha hit a great ball. The Cascata FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Cascata FC's Raimundo Hames looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 74 minutes into the match, Cascata FC's Raimundo Hames sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silas da Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silas da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Esteves in the 77th minute of play. When Cascata FC's Raimundo Hames in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candia's goalie prevented a goal. Silas da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. In the 86th match minute, Cascata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachary Wojtkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Candia's Cipriano Rosado tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Candia's Silas da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Hames in the 89th minute of play. Valdir dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Silas da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candia's Silas da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Hames in the 92nd minute of play. Raimundo Hames struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Silas da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascata FC. After 98 minutes, Pedro Luiz Saldanha made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Candia's Silas da Costa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Cascata FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
